The 77mm NanoPro Magnetic Interchangeable Variable ND 2-Filter Kit from Haida combines a pair of variable neutral density filters with a magnetic filter ring for a fast density adjustment range from 2 f/stops to 9 f/stops. The aircraft-grade aluminum ring screws onto the 77mm front filter thread of a lens, allowing either the 2-5 f/stop filter or the 6-9 f/stop filter to be attached or exchanged in just seconds. The filter ring features front filter threads, allowing it to stay on the lens and have a lens cap attached when not in use.
Made of multicoated optical glass, the variable filters allow exposure to be more fully controlled, creating longer shutter times for increased blur when shooting water and moving subjects. Also, adjusting the lens aperture allows finer control over the depth of field.
