The wireless system operates over 2.4 GHz with a line-of-sight range of 400 meters, giving you flexibility when shooting interviews, vlogs, or on-the-go content.  It incorporates features such as automatic limiting—which helps prevent audio clipping—and built-in noise suppression to maintain clean voice recording, even in variable environments. 

Connectivity is simplified with USB-C support and compatibility with DJI OsmoAudio devices, enabling direct connection to DJI hardware without needing a separate receiver.  However, it's worth noting that unlike DJI’s higher-end models, the Mic Mini does not support internal on-device recording or 32-bit float backup tracks.
