The improved handle quickly folds out into a tripod stand to provide a stable shooting platform for time-lapse shots, group photos, and more. The original version included a removeable tripod base that needed to be attached to the bottom of the device.

Another improvement is the integrated ball joint that allows you to change your camera angle 260° by adjusting the yaw and the tilt as opposed to just the tilt angle as with the original version.
