UV (C) HMC Filter

Purpose: Absorbs ultraviolet light to reduce haziness in outdoor photography.
Features:
Clear filter with no additional coloration, allowing seamless use with other filters.
Slim mounting ring prevents vignetting, especially on wide-angle lenses.
Acts as a protective barrier against dust, moisture, and scratches.
Multi-coated design minimizes flare, ghosting, and reflections, ensuring over 97% light transmission for sharp contrast and accurate colors.

Circular Polarizer Filter

Purpose: Reduces reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces while enhancing color saturation.
Features:
Filters polarized light caused by reflections and atmospheric scattering.
Enhances the clarity of skies, water, and foliage by eliminating unwanted glare.
Optimal performance achieved at a 90° angle to the sun.
Incorporates a quarter-wave plate to support autofocus and auto-exposure functions, unlike linear polarizers.
Ideal for digital cameras and autofocus lenses.

Neutral Density Filter (ND 0.9)

Purpose: Reduces the amount of light entering the lens without affecting color balance, enabling creative control in bright lighting conditions.
Features:
Provides a 3-stop reduction in light for longer exposures or wider apertures.
Enables smooth motion effects in waterfalls, clouds, or moving vehicles.
Facilitates shallow depth of field even in bright environments.
Prevents overexposure in high-contrast scenes such as snow or sand.

Applications of the Hoya Filter Kit

UV Filter: Perfect for general lens protection and eliminating haze in outdoor shots.
Circular Polarizer: Ideal for landscape photography, reducing glare and enhancing saturation for vibrant imagery.
Neutral Density Filter: Essential for creative effects like motion blur and achieving cinematic depth of field under bright light.
