Save yourself time and space in your gear bag with this Cine Variable ND64-ND512 Filter for Mavic 2 Pro from Moment. Using neutral density (ND) filters is an easy way to adjust the look of your aerial footage by blocking light from entering the lens. This single variable filter lets you literally dial in your ND value of choice. It can be set from ND64 to ND512, reducing light by 6-9 stops. This single filter solution has the added benefit of saving you space in your gear bag, and the time it would take to keep switching between single ND filters.

Moment crafted this filter from fused silica glass, which is engineered to provide optical clarity without color fringing or cross-polarizing. The frame around the glass is precision-machined with a knurled grip. This helps make it easier to control the filter strength and remove it from the drone. To further help with setting the filter strength, Moment incorporates laser-etched markings for each ND value. Simply rotate the filter ring to your setting of choice. Hard stops have been incorporated at each end to help ensure there is zero cross-polarizing.

Airlight Design

Moment uses aerospace-grade aluminum to make the filter as lightweight as possible. This is designed to add as little weight and stress as possible onto the drone and gimbal. Doing this helps in allowing the gimbal to move smoothly and without restriction.

Optical Coatings

Moment incorporates a host of optical coatings and surface treatments on the fused silica glass to enhance its optical and physical properties.

16-layer anti-reflective coating
Optical coating for cinematic color and increased durability
Anti-static surface treatment
Hydrophobic (water-repelling) surface treatment
Scratch-resistant surface treatment
