Micro Four Thirds Flagship

The first flagship to carry the OM SYSTEM name, the OM-1 Mark II is a revamped second iteration of the proven Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera. Its 20MP stacked BSI Live MOS sensor and TruePic X processor deliver high-quality captures, speedy autofocus, and excellent low-light performance with a native ISO range of 200 to 102,400. Primed to give you a closer view of your subject due to the crop factor of the Micro Four Thirds system, the OM-1 Mark II excels in wildlife and nature photography. When you're shooting handheld, the sharpness of your images is greatly improved by the 5-axis in-body image stabilization. Altogether, the OM-1 Mark II provides users mobility, precision, and a reliable workhorse camera for image and video capturing.

Among the noteworthy upgrades of the OM-1 Mark II are enhanced AI subject detection for humans, live graduated neutral density filters, updated menu configuration, 14-bit raw output, and rubberized dials.

Cross Quad Pixel AF

1053 individual focus points are made available by the OM-1 Mark II's comprehensive Cross Quad Pixel autofocus system, allowing the camera to catch focus nearly anywhere on the sensor. With this design, the camera automatically detects subjects such as birds, humans, animals, cars, airplanes, and trains in order to keep them in focus and track their movements. This Cross Quad Pixel AF algorithm paired with the TruePic X processor promises a high-speed, reliable focusing performance.

Notable Mark II Upgrades

20% increase in image stabilization and 8.5 EV stops of compensation
Rubberized dials for a more tactile feel
Menu button can be programmed to Delete, making it so you don't have to remove your left hand from your lens
Triple the amount of tones in your images with 14-bit raw output
Improved blackout-free sequential shooting
Vertical video support
Live GND8 and ND128 Filtering
Improved Human AI subject detection AF

Designed for the Elements

IP53 rated, the OM-1 Mark II offers superior weather protection and withstands some of the harshest conditions in the field. Its tough construction renders the camera freezeproof, dust and splash resistant, and operable at temperatures as low as 14°F.

Video Capabilities

DCI & UHD 4K video recording are supported at up to 60p and 10-bit 4:2:0 sampling. Full HD recording is possible at high-speed rates up to 240 fps for slow-motion playback.Vertical video is now available, opening up more compositional options when shooting and saving you time in post production.

Live ND

Supporting up to ND128, this function digitally simulates the effects of an optical neutral density filter so you can create slow shutter speed effects in your images. With Live ND, you can see the effects through the viewfinder and on the LCD monitor.

Useful Features

5.76m-dot OLED electronic viewfinder for clear eye-level shooting3.0" 1.62m-dot swivel touchscreen LCD to enable an incredible range of viewing capabilities while capturing

OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO II Lens

Exceptional Image Quality Anywhere You Go

Offering superb optical performance and high-resolution results, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO II from OM SYSTEM gives you exceptional image quality anywhere you go. Compact and lightweight for maximum portability, this wide-to-portrait-length zoom is a 24-80mm equivalent lens for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. Its advanced optical design includes a variety of sophisticated elements that reduce both chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range for notable clarity, sharpness, and color accuracy. An excellent choice for content creators, the lens features a high-speed movie and still compatible autofocus system for fast, smooth, and silent focusing performance, and with a minimum focusing distance of just 7.9" you can get close-up shots whenever you desire. Safeguarding the lens is a reliable weather-sealed design to ensure the lens' performance in inclement and harsh conditions, and a fluorine lens coating provides additional protection from dust, water droplets, grease, and dirt.

Advanced Optical Design

The lens construction integrates two ED (extra-low dispersion) elements, two aspherical elements, one DSA (dual super aspherical) element, one EDA extra-low dispersion aspherical element, one HD element, and two HR (high-refractive index) elements into its design to minimize aberrations, distortion, and color fringing throughout the zoom range while also contributing to overall image sharpness, clarity, and color accuracy.
A ZERO (Zuiko extra-low reflection optical) coating minimizes lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
Fluorine coating provides protection to the optical system and repels dust, water droplets, grease, and dirt, ensuring easy removal even when they adhere to the lens surface.

Versatile and Dependable Workhorse

Standard wide-angle to portrait-length zoom lens is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides a 24-80mm equivalent focal length range.
Constant f/2.8 maximum aperture enables consistent low-light performance and selective focus control throughout the zoom range. Combined with a rounded seven-blade diaphragm, this produces a smooth bokeh quality beneficial to portraiture and close-up photography.
Movie and still compatible (MSC) autofocus system benefits both photo and video applications due to its smooth, quiet, and fast performance.
Reliable weather-sealed design ensures the lens's performance in inclement and harsh conditions.
