The Viltrox EF M2 II is designed for filmmakers and photographers who want to use Canon EF lenses on Micro Four Thirds cameras such as Panasonic Lumix and OM System models. The adapter incorporates a 0.71x focal reduction optical system that helps reduce the crop factor of Micro Four Thirds sensors while increasing the effective aperture by about one stop for improved low light performance.

Electronic contacts enable autofocus auto exposure image stabilization aperture control and EXIF data transfer with compatible lenses. The metal construction provides durability for professional use and includes a built in 1/4 inch tripod mount to help support heavier lenses and reduce stress on the camera mount.
